Windows 10 runs great on my ten-year-old Core2duo laptop w/ 2GB of RAM, but each new version of Windows 10 becomes harder and harder to install -- and you have to install them or you'll pretty quickly stop getting security updates. I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to get Creators (or anything past that) to install and operate correctly.
